Artis Pretty Asmara meninggal dunia pada tanggal 4 November 2018 lalu di usianya yang ke 41 tahun. Namun rupanya ada kejadian mengejutkan di balik kabar meninggalnya Pretty Asmara. Seperti dilansir dari msn.com (10/4/2019), Asisten rumah tangga (ART) Pretty Asmara sempat menceritakan perilaku aneh almarhumah sebelum menghembuskan nafas terakhir di Rumah Sakit Pengayoman, Jakarta Timur.
Menurut sang ART, majikannya pada malam hari sebelum meninggal dunia mengaku didatangi seseorang, tapi asisten rumah tangga itu tak melihat kehadiran orang yang dimaksud Pretty. ART keluarga Pretty Asmara yang bernama ibu Umi itu memang selalu mendampingi Pretty dengan sabar di detik-detik terakhir hidupnya. Saat Pretty Asmara hendak tutup usia, Umi dengan setia tetap berada di sisinya. Namun menurut Umi, malam hari sebelum meninggal, Pretty Asmara tampak bertingkah aneh. Sikap aneh tersebut lantaran ia sedang gelisah.
Umi mengungkapkan bahwa Pretty sudah tampak gelisah malam sebelum ia hembuskan nafas terakhirnya. Hanya kepada Umi, Pretty Asmara mengaku jika ia didatangi seseorang. Namun anehnya, Umi mengaku tak melihat sama sekali siapa orang yang mendatangi Pretty itu. "Katanya ada orang ke sini ke rumah tapi ga ada orangnya katanya, 'Siapa ya orang ke sini?' gitu aja," ucap Umi menirukan perkataan Pretty Asmara kepadanya. Saat meninggal, Pretty Asmara berstatus sebagai narapidana kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba. Pada tanggal 8 Maret 2018, majelis hakim Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat menjatuhkan vonis enam tahun penjara dan denda sebesar Rp 1 miliar kepada Pretty Asmara.
